Slide of the Month Extra - Bicentennial Logo

July 4th 2026

Time to print: 6 hours

Finishing: .5 hours
It was an interesting time leading up to July 4th, 1976.
The memories of the Vietnam War, Watergate, Nixon, and the Olympic massacre in Munich fading (but not forgotten) and the last Apollo mission flown (with the USSR). I remember feeling a bit of a vacuum as we waited for the next large event to happen or some kind of movement we could rally around. The country found some sense of healing in the Bicentennial celebration and I wish we could have that same feeling today on the United States of America's 250th birthday.

Printed in red, white and blue PLA using super glue to assemble the parts. The letters are painted with a black paint pen.

Shout out to the "Spirit of 76" my high school graduating class
